Cruise lines in Hamburg: which terminal, and where to park?

AIDA, Mein Schiff, MSC or Hurtigruten: find out which of Hamburg’s three cruise terminals each cruise line uses, according to Cruise Gate Hamburg – and how cruise parking in Hamburg with a shuttle works at Hansa Parking.

Please note: all information on cruise lines and terminals on this page comes from the public call lists of Cruise Gate Hamburg, the operator of Hamburg’s cruise terminals (as of September 2026). It is a snapshot: the same ship does not always dock at the same terminal. What counts are your travel documents – they state which terminal applies to your cruise.

Overview: which cruise line docks at which terminal?

The figures show the calls in the 2026 calendar year. “Yes” means that the cruise line appears in the terminal’s list of upcoming calls from September to December 2026 (retrieved on 22 September 2026). You can find the current list on the operator’s website under Expected vessels at Cruise Gate Hamburg.

AIDA: mostly at Cruise Center Steinwerder

Of the 121 AIDA calls that Cruise Gate Hamburg lists for 2026, 100 are at Cruise Center Steinwerder, 20 at Cruise Center Altona and one at Cruise Center HafenCity. Ships listed at Steinwerder in 2026 included AIDAperla, AIDAnova, AIDAprima and AIDAsol; at Altona, AIDAsol and AIDAluna were listed in autumn 2026.

We deliberately do not give specific check-in times for AIDA here. Your time slot is shown in your travel documents.

Mein Schiff (TUI Cruises): at all three terminals

TUI Cruises appears in the lists of all three terminals: in 2026 with four calls at Steinwerder (Mein Schiff 2 and Mein Schiff Relax), and in autumn 2026 with Mein Schiff 7 at Altona and with Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow at HafenCity.

According to TUI Cruises, online check-in is mandatory for all passengers. Anyone arriving independently – including guests who park with us – books a check-in time slot in advance. For departures from Germany, TUI Cruises gives 13:00 to 16:00.

MSC: Steinwerder and HafenCity

For MSC, Cruise Gate Hamburg lists a total of 35 calls in 2026: 28 at Cruise Center Steinwerder, mostly by MSC Preziosa, and 7 at Cruise Center HafenCity. We have no verified information on MSC’s check-in times – please follow your travel documents.

Other cruise lines

According to the list, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises docks at Altona and HafenCity (Hanseatic Spirit, HANSEATIC nature), and once at Steinwerder in 2026 (Europa). For Hamburg, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises states luggage drop-off from 10:00 and embarkation from 16:00. Phoenix Reisen appears at Altona and HafenCity. Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line dock at Steinwerder in 2026, Costa at Steinwerder and Altona. P&O Cruises, Princess, Ambassador, Fred. Olsen and plantours are also on the HafenCity list.

What this means for your parking

Because the terminal can change from one cruise to the next, a car park that is not tied to a single terminal is a practical choice. Our shuttle runs from the car park at Modering 1 to all three terminals: Steinwerder, Altona and HafenCity. According to Cruise Gate Hamburg, there is no long-stay parking at Cruise Center Altona. You will find all the details of our shuttle and the three terminals on our home page.

Check-in time slots and shuttle times

Our shuttle runs daily from 07:00 to 18:00 as needed, and the drive to the terminal takes approx. 20 minutes. Plan your arrival at the car park so that you reach the terminal within your cruise line’s check-in time slot.
